I have baby!!!!

Sorry my post is delayed, to be honest I have just been wrapped up in being a mammy!

My precious baby Eve was born on 21st January at 11.02pm and since then, almost 3 weeks now, I have been in a baby bubble! She takes up all of my time and my thoughts. She is so amazing. I know I would think so anyway, but she is beautiful, really, really cute! She is so tiny, though growing all the time, she was 7 lbs 8oz born and when weighed today she was 8lb 4oz. She has perfect tiny little fingers and toes and ears... I could go on!!! Stu is just as besotted and is so cute with her, we are enjoying being parents- though it is tiring and at times scary and we are unsure about so many things, we learn every day an we are getting better at things - changing, bathing etc.

To be honest writing about my day would probably be boring to read about, when she isn't sleeping she is eating and of course filling her nappy! I spend a large portion of my life changing nappies and the rest feeding Eve or staring at her! I alo try to sleep a bit through the day as Eve does not like sleeping as much through the night and while Stuart seems able to sleep through her gurgles and squeaks and little snuffly noises I am on alert to every sound she makes even when I know she is fine, I have to keep eeping over the side of her moses basket to see she is ok!

I have to admit that there are lots of difficult things being a mam, soreness (from birth and feeding) and sleep deprevation being top two but it is all worth it when I hold my baby and she looks up at me with her big blue eyes. I could cry at how special she is, no words will come close to explaining the feelings I have for her.

I will write again with more soon, and tell you all some of the funny things she has been doing and some of the adventures we have been having as a family but today I just wanted to share the fact tht she is here and she is amazing and I am so so in love wih her and with being a mammy.
